Burg Eltz & Geierlay

With my friends from AZ I drove up to the Mosel to visit Burg Eltz, about 170 km from here.
I took so many photos, but was a little disappointed when I looked at them. But what did I expect? A castle as fantasic as Burg Eltz (inside and out!) and a "photographer" like me - not a good combination.

If you are travelling in the Mosel area, visit Burg Eltz. It's worth it. Before Euro-times Burg Eltz was on the reverse side of our 500 DM note.

And afterwards - another 30-minute-drive - a little hike from the town Mörsdorf to see the Geierlay, Germanys largest suspension bridge. I did about ten steps on the bridge, before I went back. Not me! I wasn't the only one of our group...
