Mallard Drake

 
We enjoyed a lovely walk along the wetlands path today with our little Ellie Pug on her 14th birthday.
A mallard drake passing by at high speed gave me a chance to practice an action shot.

The extra image is of a Blue Camus blossom.
It is an important food plant for the Native Americans who live in the Willamette Valley.
