Another wonderful Wanaka day

Our day began with a run to the top of the Crown Range road enjoying the carex, rocks and cloudless sky before returning to the historic Cardrona Hotel for a delicious steak sandwich al fresco.
A gentle drive around the town to the outlet of the lake into the Clutha River, enjoying the sights and colours of Wanaka in her autumn garb before joining our friends Julie and Lloyd at their home where they gave our grandsons the thrill of their lives with a speedy ride in their jetsprint boat.
I think they'll be grinning till next Wednesday!
