Smiley Face

Apparently people are hard wired to see patterns and shapes, particularly faces., in random objects or in the details of things. This is especially true if you're a bit neurotic (due to a primitive survival mechanism that makes you on high alert for threats) or in a happy mood which enhances your spatial awareness and problem solving capability.

Well not sure which one I am, but the arrangement of these ornaments in the Mill Lodge restaurant definitely look like a face to me!

Yes, it was Ladies who Lunch today, and we went to the Mill Lodge as I had some discount vouchers for 40% off. My prawn salad (healthy!) was divine, but my friends were not so impressed with their barbecue chicken meals, unfortunately!

I have changed my Fitbit setting so my 8 hours of activity fall while I'm at work, otherwise I'd be half dead before I got there! The whole thing is a great idea, but clearly created for people with sedentary jobs in offices!

Jae went back to the dentist yesterday, and is going to need work costing over £400! That was a very expensive night out he went on!
