Actually, when I bought Berkeley Bear at the top of the Empire State Building in 1996, the World Trade Centre stretched up into the sky even closer to heaven.  There I watched the sun setting from the Windows on the World viewing platform on the 107th floor, where I got a similar bear as a gift for Mum.

I returned to my flat this afternoon, after catching up with my sister when she arrived at Mum's for lunch, and when I got here immediately launched into the usual routine of getting all my laundry done.  Yes, I really know how to live the high life...
