getting ready to burst open - on a green stalk of a newly - planted tree in one of my favorite little gardens - i like to visit during the season

there it stood - this fragile little tree - with fresh green branches reaching towards - a blue sky in the wind and on it were these - newly opening buds, pink of course - i was thrilled yet concerned - because reports are calling for - a major snow storm to come through this weekend - expecting to drop upwards of 6 inches of snow on - the land - hopefully this little tree will withstand both the temps and winds - and all will end with it being...
