Christchurch

Today we arrived in Christchurch. Although Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island, due to their devastating earthquakes, it is a ghost town. The city is currently in the processing of being rebuilt however whilst the quake may have damaged the city, the huge botanic gardens remains a beautiful spot- with not a cloud in the sky, we spent the whole day walking and relaxing in this lovely garden.
