Having a whale of a time in Kaikoura

Today we headed to Kaikoura: a picturesque little seaside town, famous for its abundant sea life. We signed up for the whale watching- which was magnificent! We saw two sperm whales swim up for air and dive back under, showing off their colossal tales. We also witnessed loads of dusky dolphins racing alongside the boat, whilst doing remarkable acrobatic flips. Flying alongside us were Albatrosses- enormous birds with a wing span of up 12 feet. We did not know where to look, what a great experience!
