A morning and early afternoon of delaying with outstanding and current correspondence - the reading of papers for Monday will have to wait.

Then off for afternoon tea with my mother to celebrate her birthday. Great to have my brother and sister in law and her mother present too, along with our daughter.

My mum is thinking of using a walking stick - but coping so far without one!
