A new bridge

Absolutely dog tired last night, after another 4th place in the quiz, slept like a log.....didn't wake until 7 :- D

After we'd walked into town for a few things, and hub had his eyes tested, we came home, I prepared a steak and ale filling for a pie, then we had a sandwich for lunch, before going for a walk along the canal.

Last time we walked this route this railing along the top of the wall had not been installed. It's actually rusty metal, but I liked the blip in mono better.

We've had haddock in chilli butter for dinner tonight. The pie is for tomorrow, youngest and his wife are coming for a sleepover then we are all going to Isabella's christening Sunday morning.

We've had a lazy night in front of the TV, with a couple of G&Ts.....just watched the first two episodes of Harlan Cobens The Five........very promising start :-)
