An angle on an Amelanchier
Beautiful sunny morning, chilly, but no frost that I could see, and definitely no snow :-)
Slept well for a second night following, thank goodness!
We walked into town for paper, bread and cake for later. Then stopped off for a coffee, that evolved into a full English for hub and an egg and bacon barm cake for me ;-)
On the way home we bumped into one of our local councillors who had rallied huge support for a litter pick in an area that we walk regularly that had become a real eye sore....the locals had done a grand job, with some 30/40 bin bags awaiting the councils collection...so good to see. Needless to say we still picked up half a dozen bottles and crisp wrappers on our way back :-/
We spent some time in the garden pottering, nothing too strenuous, I flitted about in search of today's blip, settled on this shot of our little Amelanchier tree against the bluest of skies :-)
I'm just about to go put a crust on my steak and ale pie and get the potatoes in to roast, with some asparagus, green beans and sugar snap peas........with strawberry gateau and cream for dessert ;-).
Youngest and DiL due anytime now, so best get a move on!
I am trying to catch up on commenting, will be with you all shortly, promise :-)
Enjoy your weekend all
