Running Wild And Free

My eleven o'clock walkie was slightly early today, so that I could have a play date with my friend Nellie! We went to the other football fields, the ones that do not - yet - have No dogs-signs on them. Mum had brought a throwing toy that I don't often play with any more. But Nellie is crazy about anything that can be thrown - sticks, balls, toys on a rope.

So this is how it works. One mum throws the toy. Nellie runs off after the toy like a missile, and retrieves it to be thrown again. Her favourite game. I run after Nellie, not to get the toy but to chase Nellie, and get her to wrestle me for a bit. My favourite game. Win-win!!
