Pippingford Park

Back again to Pippingford Park to help Mr P and the team with their plans for the orienteering relays next year.  Today is exactly one year before the event hence the best time to check the sogginess of the ground and the thickness of the vegetation.  We had had really heavy rain all day Friday and the ground was very boggy.  Will it be like this next year?  We have to assume yes; it might be worse.  Deciding where to put 1000 cars, food traders and equipment traders without them getting stuck in the mud?   This looks like a wonderful old drive from the days  when the park was a private estate. These days it's owned by the MOD for training.
