Scarborough Blipmeet

Many thanks to Riversider for arranging today's blip meet.We had a super day and the weather was FINE!!

Great to meet other blippers, Philipoto, Madwill, Printman, Jankerman, Ivor, Anniemay, DavidC and Kiteseekr some of whom had travelled across the country. I am so pleased that Scarborough looked its best in the sunshine and provided us with loads of photo opportunities.

This is the view from the South Bay towards the Grand Hotel a Victorian edifice the interior of which has sadly lost most of its grandeur but which still enjoys the best view of the bay.

The surfers were out and the yachts and assorted dogs endlessly retrieving sticks from the sea and of course the breakers so like the couple in my blip you really could just sit and watch the world go by!
