Beloved Community

Have used this title before, but it was so truly good to be back among our church community today, catching up with folk and feeling so loved. Was itching to get a photo of the afternoon light streaming into these windows as the evening service went on, but felt I could hardly get up from the front row where we'd sat and take a photo, and by the time the service finished, this is what I saw - still beautiful, but darker.

And the most brilliant news about my friend, she's making miraculous progress and will probably be moved off intensive care tomorrow - we are so grateful. Now to pray she'll not have any lasting damage...
