Hanging frond.

Old fern frond hanging,
Caught by the morning sunlight,
Time to fall to ground.


My contribution to the Mono Monday challenge . As it was caught by the  early light it gave a great contrast between light and dark making it a good mono shot. This weeks theme is " the environment" and as this is a native fern I want to say how important it is that the native trees and plants of all countries are preserved....... rather than being cut down to make way for some ghastly multinational crop.
