Monomonday: The Environment

The natural environment seems to be reclaiming this old house in the quiet hilltop village of Kathikas, which we strolled round this morning.

In fact, most of the village is very well preserved and very attractive. I suspect this one may soon be restored to its former glory.

From here we went on to Polis, where a taxi driver managed to reverse into our stationary hire car (fortunately gently enough to do no damage!) and from there to the resort of Latsi, with a pleasant harbour, where we had lunch, then on to the Bath of Aphrodite, where legend has it she first clapped eyes on Adonis when she emerged from her bath. Tess had a similar experience this morning!
