A Peaceful Environment.

We sat on a bench
Put there in memory 
Of someone’s Mum and Dad.
Listening to the sounds.
None of them man-made.
The wind and the sea.
The birds and the gulls.
A cow gently lowing.
Lucky Mum and Dad.
Sounds of nature
Until eternity.

We drove from Scarborough to Robin Hood’s Bay and took a walk along the cliffs in the blustery wind. Then we drove to Whitby Abbey and had a wander around. We are now settled in our B&B after eating the obligatory fish and chips.
