Mono Monday - Office Environment

When I saw that the theme for Mono Monday was Environment, I thought this would fit. Today we moved into the newly refurbished floor of the office. It seems to have been designed to look like a call centre in about 2003! 

I like how bright it is. But it's really noisy and difficult to concentrate because there are so many people around. Except for all the crates lying around waiting to be unpacked, the whole place is very sterile and their aim is for it to stay that way. We had to fight to be allowed to move the plants onto the new floor. And if you leave anything on a desk (we don't have our own desks anymore, it's all hot desking), it'll be removed.

I'm going to find it very difficult to get used to this new, supposedly 'improved' environment.
