Reward and Duty

The words of Duffy should help tie my assembly together tomorrow.

It's been a marathon Monday. Staff meetings all day (apart from the hour I spent in the company of Year 10 studying Emily Dickinson - easily the best hour of the day.) Issues from banal to genuinely heartbreaking and pretty much all in between.

A long list ploughed through once home as well. Definitely earned the tax payer's money today!

I thought of my lovely father in law at the margins of the day - it would have been his birthday. It's the first time that looking back a year on blip has made me feel sad.
