twinned with trumpton

After a sound sleep, it was a hearty breakfast and out for the 1105 to Plymouth (not all the way; only as far as Dunbar) and the next long distance path - the John Muir Way. From his birthplace in Dunbar to his departure point from Scotland to the US - Helensburgh,

212 km in total; we knocked off the first 23 to North Berwick (via Belhaven then along the river to East Linton (in a westerly direction?) before turning north to North Berwick.
A day if sunny spells, gusty wind, occasional grey bits with spits of rain. But mostly if it had been a degree or two warmer and the wind was 10mph slower, it would have been a perfect day. But still not too bad.
Under 5 hours for the 14 miles; we just made the 4.20 train home and were treated to a display of incredible ineptitude as a guy dropping his sister off managed to not get off the train before it departed as he was speaking to his old classmate from school. Then after 15 minutes nearly didn't get off at the first stop... so lame.

Home, shower, dishes, bed made, and a curry for dinner with strawberries and meringues for dessert.

A sound sleep.

Waverley Station before heading out east; extra is the bridge to nowhere, Belhaven
