Aardvark

Another workshop day at the zoo, passing this offshoot of Regents Canal en route. Lovely glimpses of meerkats, giant anteaters, aardvarks and much more. The meerkats were the cutest creatures I had contact with at Chester Zoo as they would file into line obediently to receive a white mouse each from the brown paper bag the keeper took in.

Overheard a zoo customer:
'All of the people on the Brexit side are, with the possible exception of Michael Gove, a bit nutty'.

I agreed with only part of her sentiment as I don't believe reintroducing Latin to schools would have been a dynamic, forward-thinking action if it had gone ahead.
