This delightful little shrub.....

....was discarded by our equally delightful daughter L last year.  I potted them all up (there were about 7) and, all bar one, they survived.  This pieris is flowering beautifully and I though looked good next to a few spare granite sets that R has stacked there.

Beautiful day and I've worked myself to a standstill!
