Ramadan Kareem

So this morning is the start of Ramadan and life here in the sandpit changes for the next month! Everyone, both Muslim and Christian are not allowed to eat, drink or smoke in public from sunrise to sunset! All Fast-Food outlets and restaurants are also closed during the day. Can only open after sunset!
If you are a shopper, then its good news. The malls are all open from 10.00am - 4.00pm and then from 7.00pm till 2.00am.
Anyone caught breaking the rules will get fined (BD100 or about 200 uk pounds) and can end up in jail for upto a year.
Took this pic early this morning from the spare bedroom window. Everytime I opened the window and stuck my camera out it got all fogged up so ended up framing it from within
