Wild violets

Busy day all round, but seemed to achieve very little!

Sunny and quite warm when I dashed to the shop at lunchtime - just as well, really as I ventured out without a jacket. But by the time MrM and I walked around the Common this evening it was decidedly chilly. No squirrels on the feeder today!

We had intended to go out to see some of the beacons lit this evening to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday but forgot completely - too busy watching a tribute to Victoria Wood on TV...
