The cake

My yearly event is over and the pressure was all Liz's to transport the cake to her house safely!  

As usual, it's asymmetric in all the wrong places but I've enjoyed creating it.

Holly provides the theme which, as for the last two years, was her favourite TV series... This year, Impractical Jokers.  Wheelchair bound with CP, unable to talk or eat or move herself, one of Holly's biggest entertainments is TV.  And this programme makes her laugh, big time. Holly is amazing, currently studying for her GCSEs, she's a bright spark with a wicked sense of humour.  

She introduced us to Impractical Jokers a few months ago and it has to be said, it's had us in stitches too.  If you haven't seen it... Four adults, friends from school, who dare each other and take punishments for failure.  Occasionally, it's just a little unPC or goes a little too far but on the whole it's good humoured fun.  I've watched a few on YouTube recently to get ideas for the cake and have found myself aching with laughter.  

Liz and I had a great walk with the dogs at Bolton Abbey this morning and a lunch stop too.  

Now for a bit of work and decide what to do next.
