Silhouetted

From a calling cuckoo to an inquisitive curlew, there was  plenty to see on the moors today but it's this red kite that came in for a close encounter across the path of the sun that I've chosen for today's memory bank.  

After pondering yesterday whether to go away in the van, I concluded I needed a catch up weekend so instead, I had my usual stroll out with Little Dog.  

And now, I'm catching up.
