Oh this is so difficult! To choose only one...

Today we went on a boat trip to the island of Vigur where we saw, it is claimed, the only windmill in Iceland, were dive bombed by Arctic terns, got up close to black guillemots and had tea and cakes in the farmhouse.

In the afternoon we explored the town and in particular enjoyed a visit to the modern church. Since that church was one of the most memorable visits of our holiday, I think my blip has to be this wall in the church. Each clay bird was made by a member of the community under the guidance of the artist.

...or should it have been diving terns, or nesting guillemots, or the only windmill in Iceland...
