Job done

We finished making the replacement awning today and then took advantage of a lull in the breeze to fit it.

Amazingly it worked first time of asking - and thereby saved quite a few quid. Well done, us.

Good to get it done. We can now look forward to our next trip - just a peedie one over to the big island to see a film at the Picky and to attend the camera club social. Hoping for good weather. As we are going to be staying at Stenness  I want to take my camera and do a day at  the archaeological sites: Maes Howe, Stenness Stones and Ring 'o Brodgar. Then we shall see if the monster van will fit on the roads round to Skaill. They have falcons at Skaill House now. More camera opps!
