Magnolia

I have been watching this magnolia for a few weeks now, in our neighbours garden.
Garadually and slowly the furry outer cases have been falling off and the buds gradually unfurling in this weeks warm sunshine.
They are tinged with brown, which I think was caused by some cold winds earlier on.
I hope the frost , which is forecast for the weekend , doesn't spoil them.

Usual Friday shopping, followed by some gardening, and then a visit from my sister.

The weather has now turned much colder. Just in time for the weekend!
