Spring at the Castle

After a cool start we tackled some of the clutter that had accumulated in the back yard.

This afternoon was brighter and a local dog walk was on the cards. Jet is rather cautious when encountering a field of cows. As I circumnavigated the herd I had to smile as Jet hugged the edge of the field before making a dash for the stile.

I liked this view of the castle, which has just opened after the winter. The custodian was giving directions to some tourists, the leaves were returning to the trees and there was a good view across to Beacon Hill.
