Tour De Yorkshire

Another lovely afternoon saw us out in Rosedale for a dog walk. The village made an appearance on Secret Britain about glass making through the ages.

This is one of the villages which the Tour of Yorkshire will visit. The new Bradley Wiggins team will be racing for the first time. Although the riders will not have to face Chimney Bank they will face Cote de Rosedale another steep route out of the valley.

The village are preparing to welcome both cyclists and followers with flags and blue and yellow bikes. I couldn't resist this model cyclist on the village green.
