Ox Cart

This is the cart that the oxen pulled last night - it's a scene from a new BBC series.

The weeks of daily training were justified with a brilliant performance by the two oxen who were asked to do the same pull for over 20 times to cover lots of different camera angles - we were on the set from 4.00pm yesterday til 4.00am this morning - in front of cameras from 10.00pm til 4.00am- those 6 hours will probably be about 30 seconds of the series. The framework on the trailer is a focus for some computer generated firework display.

Got back to Adam's farm about 2.30 this afternoon put the oxen in the loose box for a well deserved rest and came home to get ready to drive down to my mum's to get her tea - turned the journey into a driving lesson for my daughter we were joined by my wife who was very impressed with her driving progress.
