Lindis Pass Hotel

Marie and I had a spontaneous moment and headed to Central Otago this morning. This made for a very big day out capturing beautiful Autumn colours. We stopped just before Omarama, the wind was blowing the leaves off the trees and it was as if it was raining leaves. This is the Historic Lindis Pass Hotel which is just a ruin now, having passed here a number of times over the years we never knew it was here. It has a lovely camping ground which is quite peaceful with and old out building with an open fire that you can cook over.
