We had a Sunday afternoon walk up Tillicoultry Glen past the big quarry.
This is one of many popular glens along The Ochils loved by serious walkers because of its easy access to some astonishing scenery within a few miles of Stirling.
 
 It is some years since I was last up it and it seemed to be that much steeper than I remember…
 
Meanwhile we have launched an online petition at Change.org to Nicolas Sturgeon – Save Park of Keir- don’t let it be another Trump fiasco- because it has been called in for the Scottish Parliament to make the final decision thus over-riding the local democratic process.
 
Naturally we are very angry. Now within 24 hours of it being launched over 370 people have signed it, including exiled Scots from as far afield as Australia, New York, Texas, Spain and even Abu Dubai.
