Gotthard Pass

An amazing day (for Annie) driving through some incredible roads as recommended by my friend Andy. Truly astonishing bendy madness up and down mountains.

The best road was the old Gotthard Pass, which was a paved piece of lunacy (as pictured in the blip). It's in beautiful nick despite being hardly used since the new road was built. I met 2 sets of coach and horses on the way down...

Over the last high pass before heading home I had the biggest challenge so far - as I drove up I went into the cloud. Full, thick white cloud. Hard to see where the road is!

Back for a wonderful meal out with hosts Meike, Andy and Adam (the driver of the other car for our upcoming week). Must remember to pick up Chris and co from the airport tomorrow!
