Shrewsbury (Sunday 24th April 2016)
Staying at B.'s in Newport today. This morning I explored the disused Newport Canal that runs just below her home, and this afternoon we went to Shrewsbury, where she had some bell-ringing to do at St Chad's. The peel of bells accompanied my walk around the town and along the Severn. I ended up at The Dingle, a garden created from a quarry by Percy Thrower, and that is where I found this blue tit feeding from a Japanese maple.
I will add details and possible extras when I am back at my PC. Tomorrow: Stratford-upon-Avon.
