Skunk Cabbage

Thanks to the KTs we ended up on our walk down to this part of the village where we had not really been to much, and certainly never when these "cabbages" were out. I am not sure how we have never seen them before, there must be too many other things to attract our attention here?

They were all spread out over a wide marshy area, following the trickle of water through it but I wouldn't be surprised if they take over this place. If they were supposed to smell, then the wild garlic must have negated it! There's an extra which includes the wider area.
