Black Diamonds

The Lady Victory Colliery in Midlothian closed in 1981 after 87 years in service and it is now The National Mining Museum. Most of it is disused but I took a walk up from the railway station giving views of the rear buildings which I'd not seen before. This is a coal truck in the museum, I remember wagons like this were my favourite part of my model railway when I was a lad, and I have no idea why? Although I took a fair few photos, when I saw this I couldn't refuse it!
