It's a matter of scale

We went down to Queenscliff this morning because it's not a trip to Victoria for me until I've seen pelicans. Mission accomplished.

They're just so improbable that I love them.

I was taken by the contrast here. Not my "best" photo, but a favorite.

Might have to have a wee nap this afternoon in preparation for heading home tonight - though I did manage to pop out this afternoon and buy shoes!
