ANZAC DAY 2016...Lest We Forget

"The Seymour Square Field of Remembrance honours some of the young men from this region who made the ultimate sacrifice in the First World War. Honouring New Zealanders who served in the First World War 1914 - 1918. Each of these personally named crosses represents a soldier who enlisted from Blenheim and lost his life whilst serving in WW1" reads the sign beside these humble white crosses in Seymour Square today.
