Lake Windermere

We are staying at a bed and breakfast in Windermere. After breakfast, we visited the local tourist office and then we went to the Lakeland head office shop which has recently been refurbished. We got what we wanted there and then went for an 8 mile walk taking in one of the low fells and a walk along part of the lakeside. It's cool, we had a couple of very short showers and some sunshine but the best thing was, there was very little mud which was a bonus. This was a view from the fell we climbed. The extra amused me, all these lambs sitting in a row and no mums on call with a waiting teat to feed on.
