Heavy traffic but not a bad trip down. The sun was breaking through as I arrived and the tide was high so I wondered if the seals would be out. They were, and they were speeding! They zoomed down the channel with the incoming tide and there was a small feeding frenzy going on with masses of gulls excitedly swirling above. You can just make out one seal here but there were at least half a dozen or more. The chill was Arctic and the sand was blowing like a desert storm (see extra).
It's still very disorientating in the house and I'm not quite sure where to start. It's a very strange limbo.
