Food/Flesh Polemic

I like salmon and I buy it when it is fresh, like this from Alaska. But I thought this display was almost too much, too much of a reminder of the slaughter we perpetrate upon the world, and especially the ocean. I hear and allow myself to believe that the Alaska salmon population is still "sustainable" but I fear we can't know what will happen in the the oceans with global warming.
