Relaxing
I went to a blipmeet in Warwick today; we met in Cafe Nero, where else? After coffee and chat we set off for St Mary's Church and spent a happy hour snapping (quite a few of the group braved the steps to go to the top of the tower, I sensibly stayed on the ground). Taking photos is hungry work so the local Weatherspoons was visited for a well deserved lunch.
After lunch we headed off for Lord Leycester Hospital, a building built in 1571 not as a hospital but a retirement home for ex-servicemen. In exchange for some photos from us collectively they kindly let us in free. There is a lovely garden behind the building which is where I took this pic of a resident, our guide, having a rest and a smoke.
The extra (which I'll hopefully load in a minute) is a William Morris window in the chapel of the hospital.
