Tuesday Tranquility

The tranquility of the early evening sun setting over the Great Water and the sound of barnacles bickering, a black swan calling and a Canadian Goose landing on the water with a swoosh made for a peaceful end to a busy work day.

My iPhone went tech after inadvertently dropping it in water last night and so it spent the day drying out in a box with silicon gel packs courtesy of the clever IT manager at the Castle. Thankfully it seems to be okay but is staying switched off and drying out overnight.

It's refreshingly liberating to be free of the constant alerts, messages and emails despite the inconvenience. Rather feel like switching off and hiding in a box myself sometimes too!
