Today started so well (as long as you're prepared to discount the 'feels like' temperature of -2...that's not April weather, not in Europe)

We made it to our AGM easily (thanks to crafty backroads navigation, necessary due to a public transport strike)

AGM went smoothly, new board elected, constitution changes passed, escaped early.

Then in the car on the way home I got a message from Little miss bossy asking to be picked up early (happens regularly, teachers here don't seem to like working in the afternoons) and then a sobbing phone call from her asking to be picked up earlier, the brother of her bestest bestie died last night.
