Luck

Somewhere between Caernarfon and Beddgelert I got off the road to try to get my Blip - one of the hills I'd seen from the car.

As I was taking the shot I heard the whistle of a steam engine. I waited a bit, and around the corner came the Caernarfon to Porthmadog service of the Welsh Highland Railway. It got Blipped instead.

I've put the hill shot in extras - the first one.

The second extra is Snowdon. No chance of climbing that today (my plan A for the day). Cold and snowy.

Plan B was the castle in Caernarfon and a wee tour of the Snowdonia National Park. Plan B was great.
