Paddleboard Buddy

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that we have friends in town who like to standup paddleboard each morning and I have been tagging along with them for exercise. Well today we had an additional tagalong, this spotted ray. He stayed with us, just under the surface as is seen here, for a good five minutes, just cruising along unconcerned as we paddle beside him. The water was exceptionally clear on this morning's paddle, so clear in fact that when we revisited the statue of Jesus that I photographed on the 10th he was much more visible (see extra).
