Deepdale

There was a not very well publicised swan sit-in this morning. I gather it was a peaceful protest against having their young called 'ugly'.

I had a quick walk out to see the top of the tide before my sister arrived. Plenty of geese, curlew, lapwing and a couple of avocets (and a red kite later).

Then yet more sorting. Coming across so many reminders of these last difficult years. A mountain to climb still and it's exhausting on many levels. In the end we retreated to the pub before she headed back home. So lots of trips to take stuff away tomorrow I suspect.
